I recommend removing the plastic film only as little as possible from the packaging so you can barely take it out and in from the package. That way you can store it again safely, because it's very sharp.

nice little tool that's great for precision cuts. Will get dull over time, but that's true for all blades. make sure to sterilize between uses to prevent contamination.
